BBQ with a View in aid of MND Scotland!
We weren’t quite ready to say goodbye to summer yet, despite September just passing us by. On Friday 27th September, we held an evening of BBQ and drinks (courtesy of The Tiki Bar), as well as some of our favourite live DJing to raise money for MND Scotland, a cause very close to our hearts.
Over £3000 raised!
This time we were raising money for MND Scotland, a leading Scottish charity providing care and support to people affected by Motor Neurone Disease as well as funding research into finding a cure.
This is a cause very close to our hearts as a member of the Murphy family was recently diagnosed with the disease. We are doing what we can to raise awareness of the cause and have so far been overwhelmed by the support of our friends, clients and partners!
Louise Earley, MND Scotland’s Community & Events Fundraiser, said “I’d like to say a huge thanks to all the staff at Murphy Wealth for supporting MND Scotland at their Summer BBQ.
“The evening was great fun and the raffle saw some outstanding prizes up for grabs. The night itself raised an incredible amount of money, all of which will go towards helping us fund research to find a cure, and to support families across Scotland affected by this devastating disease, like the Murphy family. We wouldn’t be able to do this without the continued support of companies like Murphy Wealth. Thank you all for your generosity.”
Not only did we manage to raise money from our JustGiving page before, during and after the event, many of our generous clients and partners also donated jaw-dropping raffle prizes!
