for someone who shares our values.

We are looking to add a qualified Financial Adviser to our rapidly growing Wealth Management team where you will be responsible for advising high net worth individuals and entrepreneurs - in all areas of their wealth management affairs. This will include offering holistic and sophisticated advice across all areas of financial planning and working with our close community of professional partners to deliver the best outcomes
for clients.

This exciting role involves more than simply advising clients. Our Wealth Managers work closely with our Client Managers and Administration Team enabling them to dedicate their time to developing and enhancing new existing client relationships. Applicants should be a minimum of Diploma qualified but ideally Chartered. We are looking for a forward thinking, creative individual who is driven to develop themselves and to change how financial advice is delivered to clients.

As part of the Murphy Wealth team you will be expected to fully commit
to the culture and goals of the business working with colleagues to achieve
the business goals.

In return we will invest in your training and development and will ensure you follow a tailored training programme to support you in your day to day role from day. As part of this you will be expected to undertake study and development with a view to progressing through the Company including the completion of any agreed relevant financial or other professional qualifications.

In partnership with Glasgow Caledonian University, we are offering GCU students a unique opportunity to join a flexible and dynamic programme which will provide successful applicants invaluable experience across a range of areas within financial planning. The role will be focused on growing our business through marketing and business development. 

It will involve:

  • Gaining ‘hands on experience’ in marketing and business development.
  • Spending time in each area of the business.
  • Being assigned a mentor who will support you throughout the programme.
  • Participating in internal and external training that will benefit your own personal development.
  • Understanding the journey from client on-boarding to fulfilment.
  • Developing marketing strategies and helping grow the Murphy Wealth proposition.
  • Understanding different routes to market and how to best utilise each.

We are looking for students in their 3rd or 4th year at university and those that are keen to work for an organisation that isn't afraid to be a bit different. 

All degrees will be considered but because of the nature of our industry a focus on marketing, business or finance would be preferred.

  • Participating in internal and external training that will benefit your own personal development
  • Developing the skills needed to work with clients daily
  • Learning about creating client presentations
  • Helping prepare client advice reports
  • Assimilating client information

We are looking for students in their 3rd or 4th year at university and those that are keen to work for an organisation that isn't afraid to be a bit different. 

All degrees will be considered but because of the nature of our industry a focus on numeracy, business or economics would be preferred.
