It’s inspiring to meet people who have taken a leap of faith when setting
up their own businesses. As we all know, nothing is guaranteed, and it takes drive and determination to take the plunge.
We work with people who have left their comfort zones, relying on their own ability and instinct to make their ideas work. But what do entrepreneurs wish they’d known before starting out?
We spoke to six business owners about their experiences to find out.
Something that came up time and time again was the notion that no matter how prepared you are, you’ll never be ready for the challenges ahead. Far from being a negative to starting your own business, it turns out that these challenges are really learning opportunities, which shape your business over time.
Another great bit of advice is that entrepreneurs come in all shapes and sizes. In fact, anyone can set up their own business if they have the passion to make a new and innovative business idea work.
