Your team, our family
Through our Human First approach we build relationships for the long term, both within the company and with our clients

We’ve grown from a small, family-run business because we understand the importance in receiving advice tailored to you. We don’t take a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach to financial planning, we take time to get to know you.
And over the last 40 plus years we have developed by providing the best service available, so we can to help our clients reach their individual aspirations.

Adrian is the CEO of Murphy Wealth. He believes there’s a better way to deliver financial guidance and advice in a modern, connected world. His focus on a human-first, behaviour and evidence-based approach to financial planning informs everything he does. Adrian has achieved active Registered Life Planner designation by the Kinder Institute - one of the highest designations awarded and one of only a handful in Scotland.
In his spare time Adrian supports a number of charitable organisations. He is also the Chair of MND Scotland.

Brian MurphyFounder
Brian set up Murphy Wealth in 1977. His financial services career began at the City of Glasgow Friendly Society in 1965. Ten years at Norwich Union (now Aviva) followed. Some of Brian’s original clients are still with us today. We’ve debated whether we’ll ever allow him to retire to the golf course full-time, but the jury’s still out. He occasionally sneaks off to play a few holes. But we’ve had him electronically tagged, and always manage to drag him back again.

John joined us in 2020 bringing a wealth of experience from his business career spanning over 30 years. A Chartered Accountant by trade, John worked for Ernst & Young before moving into investment banking. He also set up a consultancy business before becoming Managing Director of an investment and property management company. Away from work, John can be found on the tennis court, football pitch (yes still!), golf course or simply chilling with his family.

He moved into wealth management in 2006, where he’s advised high-net-worth individuals and business owners.
In his downtime you’re likely to find Neil relaxing on the fairway of his local golf course.

Sarah StevensonFinancial Planner
Sarah decided at an early age that Financial Services was for her and has subsequently spent her entire career in the industry. She joined the Murphy Wealth family in 2016 and writes all our client reports. Sarah is a big lover of musicals so if she's ever feeling ‘Les Miserables’ then chances are she can be found in the theatre.

When not working, Keith loves spending time with his family, travelling when possible, and swiping crudely with a stick at a little white ball in an attempt to play golf.

Several years in performing arts as a dancer preceded Jane’s established career in financial services.
