Known for #changingthegame, Strathclyde Sirens has announced a partnership with game-changing financial planners, Murphy Wealth.
Murphy Wealth is the team’s one out of three partnerships confirmed this week, on the run up to this year’s International Women’s Day on Sunday 8th March.
Far more than just a ‘team in a League’, Strathclyde Sirens are a leading team committed to being champions for change and at the forefront of leading the gender equality agenda in Scottish sport.
The partnership kicked off this week with Sirens’ Captain Gia Abernathy and Goal Keeper Zanele Vimbela visiting Murphy Wealth HQ at their rooftop office which boasts a stunning skyline of Glasgow.
Commenting on the partnership, Adrian Murphy, CEO Murphy Wealth said: “We are different in everything that we do, and that’s why we wanted to support a team that is constantly challenging the status quo and thrives on being different too.
A lot of times when we talk to clients about goals and businesses, it’s often for the future they want to live with their families and loved ones. It’s no different when it comes to netball as a sport, we want to be key supporters in making it a sport that can change the industry, the lives of young people, and help them achieve their future goals.
With the Sirens, we want to empower our next generation. We’re excited for our plethora of new opportunities and first season with the Sirens.”
Commenting on the partnership, Claire Nelson, CEO Netball Scotland said:
“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Murphy Wealth to the growing family of key Strathclyde Sirens sponsors and partners for the 2020 Season.
As a dynamic, innovative and industry leading organisation in its own marketplace, Murphy Wealth is the perfect partner for the Strathclyde Sirens. We have a shared vision of what women’s sport, and more importantly what netball, can be in Scotland, and they are committed to helping us on our exciting journey. Together we will use our platform to engage, educate and empower our audiences to design the financial future that they want, and we are excited to work with them on a pioneering programme of activation which brings together women’s sport, business and financial services.
